Now I shall extend on the Great War!!

After Franz Ferdinand was shot, war was instantly declared.  The allied powers of Europe, including France, Russia, United Kingdom, and Italy was victorious over Austria-Hungary, Germany, and the Ottoman Empire.

Europe had been allied by a system of treaties.  When one country declared war, another would declare war because they were allies.  So basically everyone was involved, and later so was the US.  This became the first GLOBAL war... in which many countries went to fight.  Millions died.... Europe suffered most casualities.
